Concert in your Sofa?

LIVE CONCERTS! :-)

fabchannel

Nowadays, if you going to miss your favorite concert, don’t be sorry… According to web technology you can catch all your show on internet. That’s what the team of www.fabchannel.com wants to make our life easier. So recently, when I was on some meeting about P2P-NEXT project, I discovered a web site which is one of the partners of 7FP project, where you can watch all shows which are available to you. And they are recorded in very good quality – video & sound. So feel free to enjoy watching some of your favorite artist via Internet. And you can relax , layback in your sofa, plug the monitor to your big screen LCD TV and watch the concert.

Out of many live performances I personally recommend:
Big D and the Kids Table
Michael Franti and the Spearhead
Motion City Soundtrack
....

Reel Big Muthafuckin’ Fish

...Are Back!!

It used to be one of my favortie band.. So if you feel bored with my popular rock news, well.. whatever! This is it. Reel big fish has recenlty released their first studio album since leaving Jive Records; Monkeys for Nothin’ and the Chimps For Free.
With this new album there was quite some changes among the band members. The long term and popular bass player Matt Wong has left the band since he decided to spent more time with his wife and new born child. He was replaced by Derek Gibbs who played bass in Jeffries Fan Club.

Monkeys for Nothin’ and the Chimps for Free is their the sixth studio album. At the beginning of the project, the band did not intend to record a new album. They originally planned to put together a collection of B-sides and rare tracks that had never been previously released. Realizing that most of the songs had never been heard before and that a couple of them “weren’t good enough,” the band used a three week gap between tour dates to write some more new songs and record the album.

And also check their new single from the new album.

Middle finger response!

Ok, that’s it! I have enough of that! So this is it! All your spams posts like: ” nice blog – I totaly agree with you, but also check my web site: www.enlarge-your-penis.com and www.buy-viagra.com – crap! BOTs, you can kiss my shiny skinny ASS!!

Anyway, first of all I found this nice CaPTCHA plug-in, which helps you to prevent all this unwanted spam posts to your web blogs. A CAPTCHA is a way to automatically tell between humans and computers. CAPTCHA based plugins require the commenter to solve a very quick challenge to prove they are human. So legitimate comments never fall through the cracks with such a plugin. Further, as long as the plugin is secure, there will never be a false negative. The only disadvantage to such plugins is the small amount of time a user must spend solving the challenge.

The term CAPTCHA (for Completely Automated Turing Test To Tell Computers and Humans Apart) was coined in 2000 by Luis von Ahn, Manuel Blum, Nicholas Hopper and John Langford of Carnegie Mellon University. At the time, they developed the first CAPTCHA to be used by Yahoo.

Enjoy! Peace!

The exact date is December 21.

The date December 21st, 2012 A.D. (13.0.0.0.0 in the Long Count), represents an extremely close conjunction of the Winter Solstice Sun with the crossing point of the Galactic Equator (Equator of the Milky Way) and the Ecliptic (path of the Sun), what that ancient Maya recognized as the Sacred Tree. This is an event that has been coming to resonance very slowly over thousands and thousands of years. It will come to resolution at exactly 11:11 am GMT.”

Can we believe it or not?

Take your time and have a look:

listening to the whole album

Did you ever wonder, when was the last time, you really put the CD in your stereo and listen it from first to the last song. You know, not skipping any song, or whatever? I mean today whith whole new way of easy access to mp3s and albums via internet you are just simply not interested of listening to the whole CD, or in another way, they don’t record any good albums anymore. You know.. you pick the album and among all 12 or 14 songs on, it happens that there are 3 or 4 songs that you really like. But not the whole album. So I choose 3 albums where I really can listen to the whole cd with no skipping to the next favorite song what-so-ever.

No.1: Weezer – The Blue Album

weezer

It starts with energetic catchy song “My name is Jonas”, and then countinuing with “The World has turned and left me here”, until you slowly travel to hit single “Buddy Holly”, and after a high peak you can take a rest with “Undone” and “In the Garage” , until you come to the final “Only in dreams”.

No.2: Green Day – Dookie

dookie

I think here I can spend to many my words about listening to this album. I think this was the one and only revolutionary sucess of the trio band from Berkley. But let’s have a quick and short as possible look at it.
The album starts with three massive catchy powerfull songs in a roll: Burnout, Having a blast, Chump.. and following with first peak “Longview” followed with the second “Basket case” and then you take a chilly rest with songs like “she” and then comes the big final “When I come around” which gives you an echo in the following songs.. “in the end”

No.3.: Rancid – ...And out comes the wolves

rancid

They have that unique theme. For every album the record not just regulary 14 songs like all bands usually do, but they put 23 or 24 songs on their albums. And what comes out? Yeah, definetely the best punk rock album for any occasion. whether you are at home writing your homework paper, or driving in a car, camping in nature, chilling at the beach or traveling on the train. I wont go through the whole set list. We can just name the peak songs:”Time bomb, the way she moves, Old Friend, yourney to the end, ruby soho..etc”

This album should be like the evergreens in punk rock collections…

Pirates from Caribbean: At the worlds end

pirates

And finaaaaaly I was waiting for so long, that finally pirates got the ripped version of Pirates of the Caribbean: At the worlds end on net. See I wrote the word “pirates” twice in one sentece. So what pirates are we actually talking about? He he

In my case, pirates who are ripping popular movies and sharing them via internet. And after all this months, they finally managed it to get the proper copy on net. As a big fan of pirates movies somehow I didn’t make it to catch the movie at near home cinema. And all I could find it on net was just a crap TS copy with bad quality – what TS stands for you can check it here. But now it happened! It’s on! It’s there! it’s available on torrent sites. and please don’t give me the “your’re copying illegal stuff” crap, couse you all are doing completely the same. Baaaaa…

Enjoy watching the movie.. Arrrrr. Long live the Priates!
