Well…report…is as much as I remember…It was fuzzy…amm…dizzy…slightly..drunk…ufff… I was drinking Red bull vodka.. well don’t blame me!? Blame Tadej, he is one sonofabitch. He was bringing me red bull vodka all evening. Brrr…Bljjaaaaaah!! Ok so as I was metntioned in previous post, I had stoopid red bull vodka. On sunsplash, so I barely remember the all bands. But anyway here is the review:
We came late around 21h to the festival. The sky was completely dark, but not because it was the end of a day, but because there was a Big muthafuckin storm coming up. We thought we’ll be completely fucked up sitting in the car and waiting to calm down. But we didn’t give a fuck, so we took our tends and set them up. We were still afraid about the rain. But luckily the strom reseed, and went away not leaving a single drop. That was our sign to open our bottles and start drinking.

It was around 22h when first artist “Ziggy” or something (no it was not Ziggy marley, just Ziggy) finished playing. He plays some weird ragga music, which I don’t like it very much. So I planned to skip him. Then we finnaly walked into the festival and aproached to the main stage. Jah Mali was already started to play. He plays Reggae roots. And he had some good sweet song on his playlist. We were standing right in the front of the stage. But unfortunately he played very short. It was strange.. He went off the stage, the band was still on the stage and the new singer came up. And he was performing a beatifull Bob marley’s song Africa Unite. I had really good time. I was dancing craze! And after 1 o’clock the headliner came on the stage STEEL PULSE!! By that time I was already in the dizzy mood. I remember couple of songs.

After that -> completely dark. I had a vision that I’ll wake up in some channel all drunk, smelly from my puke, with stolen mobile and vallet but fortunetaly Next day I woke up in my tend with sleeping bag, with my mobile and with my vallet with no money stealed.

AahhhAaha.. aha aha ah ah hahaha NO!!
Last time on the Rototom Sunsplash I was drinking red bull vodka. Please remind me to do this Never again!
Brrrrrr…. What was I thinking? but do you know, funny is this: Well Everybody drinks red bull vodka, and get drunk and go to party all night long. Right? But, He he, if we go way back in the time, let’s say when Red Bull was released. When Red Bull was something new. A new unknown product. We got this new energy drink. So The first issue with this drink was that it has a warning sign on the back: DO NOT MIX WITH ALCOHOL! VERY DANGEROUS!. Everybody knew, everybody talked about it, everybody was warned about it: “Red bull, new energetic drink, not recommented to mix with alcohol.” But if we go to present time, what the hell we are doing now? We are doing the opposite! We are mixing red bull with vodka. That’s right! Funny, isn’t it?
So, let’s say if there is a new product on the market, a can of liquid which has the warning sign: “Do not mix with water under any sircumstances!“. People will do exactly the opposite. he he he. They will mix it with water to get stoned or drunk. he he he…
The god works in mysterious way..

Here it is. Another Rotodom Sunsplash festival 2006. It takes place in Osopo near Udine.
Reggae Sunsplash is the most original music festival in Jamaica. It is considered an authentic rite, an event which, as the name suggests, only ends when the sun splashes out from the sea, giving rise to a brand new day.
Rototom Sunsplash, a tribute to the omonymous event, is the first and most important reggae festival in Italy. In this occasion, thousands of Rasta men and reggae lovers gather from every part of Italy and Europe to attend the longest music festival in Italy.

The Festival have already started last friday, and it still happening. This Friday headliner are STEEL PULSE. One of the best pop roots reggae Band. They all look they came from Jamaica, but a band was actually formed up in Birmingham in the middle of the England. They released many many records. I can’t wait to see them play Babylon the Bandit and Taxi driver
Aiiiit.. Jah!! Do Ya Feel Irire! Feel tha Positive Vibration!
So It’s this friday! Anyone wanna join me? Take sangria with you!

Aiiiiit! I got some news! One of my favorite band from last year is gonna release a new album Yell Fire.
It’s comming out on 25th of July!

Michael Franti is the Leader singer form the Spearhead. Their music is mix of hip hop with a variety of other styles including funk, reggae, folk, and rock. His lyrics has really powerfull meaning which includes a lot of political influences.
The main themes in his lyrics are justice and survival, touching on issues like media monopolization and incarceration. In an interview, Franti talks about what his message is now: “Half the record is songs about what’s happening in the world right now, and the other half is about how we cope with it as people who are concerned about what’s going on,” he says. “This spectre of war, intimidation, this nation vs. the rest of the world, it wears us out. Half the record is a healthy dose of venting anger about that, and the other half is about how do we hold on to our spirituality, our community and our connectedness to each other.”
I’m really looking forward to listen the new Album
