Finnaly I did it! I managed to see the movie. I was waiting and preparing for a long time to go to see it. Actually, the local cinema was playing Acopalypse now: The Redux! it’s an extended version that restores 49 minutes of scenes that were cut from the original film. Well all together it has 202 min, that’s 3 hours and 22 minutes. Fuckin long movie!
The movie was directed by Francis Ford Coppola (born April 7, 1939) who is well known of its triology Godfather.

Anyway, the movie is about a soldier’s journey during the Vietnam War. Everything was much based on the true stories from American soldiers and carring their true experiences to filmmakers. What the moive wanted to show to us is somekind a misterious journey into the darkness of the human psyche. It is a closest picture of vietnams war captured on movie screen.
The movie was in a big risk of ending a project and making success, because of its big delay and financial supports.
It became notorious in the entertainment press long before its release due to its lengthy and troubled production. Director Coppola financed the film completely with his own money, earned from the blockbuster The Godfather films, and faced the possibility of bankruptcy if the film was not a success.
Anyway, movie was singatured in the moive’s history.
The movie poster art for Apocalypse Now is one of the more famous paintings by Bob Peak, who is considered an influential artist in the world of movie posters.
In movie you can see famous actor Laurence Fishburne in age of 17 playing character of young soldier in actual age 17, (now well known as main character Morpheus in Matrix triology)

Since I’ve been A big fan of Jovanotti for a long time, I recently found out, he released his new album Buon Sangue which, includes influences from both rock and old school hip hop. Ok it was not so recently, It was released last year. But how that I didn’t heard about it!? It is one of his most innovative works to date. What inspires me the most is his new single Mi Fido Di Te. Which you can see his video right here.
Note:
The name Jovanotti derives from the plural form of the Italian word giovanotto (“young man”), i.e. giovanotti. The spelling Jovanotti is anglicised; the letter j not being used in Italian per se. It was used instead of i and ii in some contexts, and not instead of gi, hence the name for the letter in Italian i lunga, or “long i”.
What is the biggest shame is that I missed his show this summer in Trevisio. I was planning to go , but didn’t succeed. Anyway.. what was left is just enjoying in watching the new video.
“mi fido di te
io mi fido di te
ehi mi fido di te
cosa sei disposto a perdere..”
